My name is Brandon Thoma and I am a LPC originally from Arnold, MO (Just South of St. Louis, MO). I have been practicing mental health since 2015, and currently live in O' Fallon, MO. I received my Masters degree in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University and my Bachelor's in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State. I am married, have 3 children, and am a military spouse.
I focus on the client’s overall well being and feelings of life fulfillment. I believe that the client comes first in the therapy process and is most successful when they are met with unwavering support. It is my goal to help my clients overcome their obstacles and pursue their goals by working towards a Growth and "Excellence" mindset. I will challenge the negative thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back. Additionally, I will empower you by teaching the tools needed to tackle issues with confidence so you can succeed in your daily life.
I primarily work with adults and teenagers who struggle with Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Relationships, and Lack of Purpose. However, I also have experience with other severe mental illnesses, substance abuse, and trauma.

H.E. on Feb, 2023 after counseling with Brandon for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, self esteem, anger management, career difficulties, and bipolar disorder

I thought my counselor was a robot for the first few minutes, but I was very wrong. Brandon is extremely supportive, this was my first attempt at seeking any kind of help and I am very grateful for his help. He does a great job at talking me through situations I'm still thinking about and encourages me to help others. My anxiety is definitely changing for the better.

Brandon is supportive and insightful. He seems to really understand me but also provides other valuable perspectives. Thank you!
